Key Responsibilities
Network Design & Architecture
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available network architectures.
• Lead network upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Define network standards, best practices, and architecture documentation.
Advanced Troubleshooting & Escalations
• Act as the final escalation point for complex network incidents and outages.
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center, and cloud networks.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
Network Operations & Optimization
• Optimize network performance, availability, and reliability.
• Monitor network health and proactively address risks and capacity issues.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement in network operations.
Security & Compliance
• Implement and manage network security controls (firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, segmentation).
• Collaborate with Security teams on threat mitigation and compliance requirements.
• Ensure adherence to security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Cloud & Hybrid Networking
• Design and support cloud and hybrid network connectivity (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement site-to-site VPNs, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Integrate on-prem and cloud networking securely and efficiently.
Leadership & Mentoring
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to L1/L2 engineers.
• Review configurations, change requests, and implementation plans.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) during audits, reviews, and projects.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
• Work with network vendors and service providers for issue resolution and design guidance.
• Evaluate new networking technologies and tools.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on large initiatives
