Key ResponsibilitiesCMDB Management & AdministrationOwn end-to-end CMDB administration, governance, and operational excellenceDesign, configure, and maintain CMDB classes, attributes, relationships, and CI lifecycleEnsure CMDB compliance with CSDM (Common Service Data Model) standardsDefine and enforce CMDB policies, procedures, and data quality controlsDiscovery, Service Mapping & IntegrationsConfigure and manage ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Identification & Reconciliation (IRE)Troubleshoot Discovery and Service Mapping issues across complex infrastructuresIntegrate CMDB with third-party tools (monitoring, asset, cloud, DevOps tools)Manage data ingestion via IntegrationHub, APIs, and ETL toolsData Quality & GovernanceMonitor and improve CMDB data health using CMDB Health DashboardDefine KPIs, dashboards, and reports for CMDB accuracy, completeness, and compliancePerform regular audits and remediation of CMDB discrepanciesLead CI normalization, de-duplication, and reconciliation processesL3 Support & Stakeholder EngagementProvide Level 3 support for CMDB-related incidents, problems, and enhancementsAct as a CMDB subject matter expert (SME) for ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM teamsCollaborate with Service Owners, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teamsSupport audits and compliance requirements (SOX, ISO, internal audits)Leadership & Continuous ImprovementMentor L1/L2 CMDB administrators and support teamsDrive CMDB roadmap, enhancements, and automation initiativesParticipate in ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and platform improvementsRecommend best practices aligned with ServiceNow releases and roadmapRequired Skills & QualificationsTechnical SkillsStrong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB & ITOMExpertise in CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, IRE, and CMDB HealthProficiency in Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow DesignerStrong understanding of ITIL Configuration ManagementExperience with cloud CMDB (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environmentsKnowledge of ServiceNow Integrations, REST/SOAP APIs
