Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Administer and manage enterprise storage infrastructure including SAN, NAS, and backup environments.

Perform L3 level troubleshooting for complex storage-related incidents and performance issues.

Configure, manage, and monitor storage systems such as EMC, NetApp, HPE, Dell, or Hitachi storage arrays.

Implement and maintain storage provisioning, zoning, masking, and LUN management.

Ensure data availability, performance optimization, and capacity planning for storage infrastructure.

Work with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and storage expansion projects.

Manage replication, snapshots, cloning, and disaster recovery solutions.

Support backup and recovery operations using enterprise backup tools.

Maintain documentation of storage configurations, procedures, and operational standards.

Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during major incidents.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with SAN and NAS storage technologies.

Experience with storage arrays such as EMC VMAX/VNX/Unity/PowerMax, NetApp, HPE 3PAR/Nimble, or Dell PowerStore.

Knowledge of Fibre Channel, iSCSI, zoning, and multipathing.

Experience with storage replication technologies and disaster recovery solutions.

Hands-on experience with backup tools such as NetBackup, Commvault, or Veeam.

Understanding of performance monitoring, capacity planning, and storage optimization.

Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows environments
