Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Associate Java Architect with strong hands-on development and mandatory solution architecture experience. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, microservices, distributed systems, API security, system design, and AWS cloud architecture.

The role will involve designing scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications while providing technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, highly available, and secure enterprise applications.

• Define application architecture, technical standards, design patterns, and best practices.

• Lead system design and architecture for high-scale distributed systems.

• Design and develop microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.

• Design robust and scalable RESTful APIs and API security using OAuth2 and JWT.

• Evaluate technology choices and provide technical recommendations.

• Design event-driven solutions using Kafka/RabbitMQ.

• Define caching, load balancing, database optimization, and performance strategies.

• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture principles.

• Guide development teams through technical design, code reviews, and architecture decisions.

• Design and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Address scalability, reliability, security, performance, and maintainability concerns.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Technical Skills

• 9+ years of experience in Java development; 10+ years preferred.

• Strong expertise in:

  • Java 8+

  • Spring Boot

  • Spring Cloud

  • RESTful API design

  • Hibernate / JPA

• Strong understanding of:

  • Microservices architecture

  • Distributed systems

  • Event-driven architecture

  • System Design & Architecture

  • API security, OAuth2, and JWT

• Hands-on experience designing high-scale and highly available systems.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Redis and caching strategies

  • Kafka / RabbitMQ

  • Load balancing

  • Database optimization

  • CAP theorem

  • Design patterns such as Factory, Strategy, Singleton, Observer, and Builder

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture principles.

AWS & Cloud Expertise

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of serverless architecture and cloud-native application development.

• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, scalability, and high availability.

GenAI – Good to Have

• Exposure to LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic.

• Experience building AI-powered applications.

• Understanding of vector databases and embeddings.

• Exposure to AI orchestration frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Architecting/Solution Design experience is mandatory.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
