Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


Provide Level 2 support for Uniface applications, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management.
Collaborate with Level 1 support, development teams, and business users to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues.
Perform impact analysis and implement fixes or workarounds for production incidents.
Maintain documentation for known issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
Participate in change management processes, including testing and deployment of patches or enhancements.
Support application upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and internal SLAs.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in Uniface application support or development.
Strong understanding of Uniface architecture, components, and development lifecycle.
Experience with Uniface versions [insert specific versions used, e.g., Uniface 9.x, 10.x].
Proficiency in debugging and resolving Uniface application issues.
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL scripting.
Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with Uniface migration or modernization projects.
Knowledge of ITIL framework and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
Exposure to other programming languages or integration technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, REST APIs).
Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
