Job Description
"Job Responsibilities:
a. Accounting & reconciliation:
o Process accounts payable, receivable, payroll, general ledger, and bank entries (deposits, withdrawals, transfers).
o Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in line with IndAS standards.
o Reconcile bank accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
b. Audit, GST & TDS Compliance:
o Assist with regulatory filings and provide necessary documentation/schedule for internal and external audits.
o Assist in GST reconciliation and ensure proper filing of GST returns.
o Maintain records of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and ensure timely deposit and filing as per regulatory requirements.
c. Financial Reporting & Data Management:
o Help prepare and organize financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
o Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records and filing systems for internal and external stakeholders.
d. Compliance & Regulatory Support:
o Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., IndAS, GST, TDS).
e. Expense Management:
o Assist in tracking and managing company and employee expenses, ensuring they align with budgetary guidelines.
o Reviewing and reconciling employee expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
f. Employee Support:
o Assist in addressing employee’s inquiries related to financial transactions, taxation and other related policy matters.
g. Process Improvement & Professional Development:
o Identify areas for process improvements to enhance efficiency.
o Participate in training to stay updated on financial software, industry best practices, and regulatory changes.
h. Team Collaboration & Ad-hoc Tasks:
o Work closely with senior team members, managers, and other departments to support daily financial operations.
o Take on special projects, system implementations, or any ad-hoc tasks as required by the finance team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (Tally, SAP); knowledge of IndAS accounting standards, GST reconciliation, and TDS compliance.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Other: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, work collaboratively in a team, and take initiative in developing a finance career."
