Job Description

• Oversee and manage the planning, execution, and migration of data center infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of current infrastructure, applications, and network to create detailed migration plans.
• Design and document migration strategies, timelines, and phased execution plans for data center consolidation or relocation.
• Identify potential risks and challenges during the migration process, and implement mitigation strategies; troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Work with network, storage, security, and system administration teams to ensure smooth migration and integration of applications and services.
• Ensure that the new data center environment meets business, operational, and performance requirements; configure and test infrastructure components.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data security, and governance policies during the migration process.
• Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes, timelines, resource requirements, and post-migration outcomes; provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Optimize performance of systems post-migration, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency of new environments.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams on new systems and best practices post-migration.
• Manage communication with stakeholders, including regular updates on progress, risks, and any required changes or decisions.
