Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop robust backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
Architect and implement scalable microservices-based solutions
Lead backend development efforts and provide technical guidance to the team
Build and optimize RESTful APIs ensuring high performance and security
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and product teams
Drive system design, architecture decisions, and code quality standards
Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize performance
Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data protection standards
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions
Required Skills
Strong experience in Java (8/11/17)
Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
Proven experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems
Strong knowledge of REST API design and development
Experience with Hibernate/JPA
Expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle
Good understanding of design patterns, system design, and scalability concepts
Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Exposure to event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Knowledge of API gateways, service mesh, and caching (Redis)
Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Leadership & Ownership
Mentor junior developers and conduct technical reviews
Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
Take ownership of modules/projects and ensure timely delivery
Contribute to technical roadmap and innovation
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
