Job Description

About: A Project System (PS) consultant with S/4HANA experience is responsible for implementing and supporting the SAP Project System module, which includes configuring project structures like Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), networks, and activities, along with cost planning, budgeting, and scheduling. The role requires understanding business project management requirements, working with stakeholders, integrating with other SAP modules (like MM and FI/CO), and supporting the entire project lifecycle from implementation to go-live. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Experience & expertise in S4 HANA. Proficient and well versed in working in S4 HANA system for Client Journey -
  2. Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA functional specifications across relevant modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP, FI/CO, QM, PM).
  3. Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA modules to align with business processes and Client standards.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between modules and third-party systems.
  5. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  6. Provide end-user training and create functional documentation and SOPs.
  7. Responsible for developments and supporting SAP systems within the context of customer project.
  8. Delivering, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing SAP functionality by applying Project system module.
  9. Handle all the prospects of development for SAP PS applications as well as all the configurations.
  10. Accountable for Solution issues escalated to the Global Support team. Ensure that tickets are properly responded to, fixed, tested and follows-up those until they are properly closed according to process defined. Support provided is functional (analysis, feed-back, recommendation …).
  11. Analyze content of releases on his/her area and recommend best organization as far as testing is concerned.
  12. Liaise with regional / local support teams and testing factory to ensure that release validation process is done properly
  13. Analyze, challenge, validate recommendations and actions of on his/her area
  14. Liaise with Global Data Excellence and Business Process Leaders organization regarding problem solving and enhancement
  15. Contribute, review and validate Core bugs & enhancements specification. Contribute to testing and validation.

 

Technology Skills:

  1. 2 to 10 years of experience SAP PS
  2. Experience in SAP implementation, Support and Global Roll out Projects.
  3. Expertise in SAP PS Module and responsible for delivering the design, development, customizations, and implementation in SAP PS functionality.
  4. Experience in various areas of PS such as structuring, Planning, Costing, Assembly processing, Material procurement, MRP run, Milestone billing, result analysis and settlement
  5. Expertise in PS integration with FICO, CATS, HCM, SD.
  6. Basic knowledge on variant configuration.
  7. Good understanding of SAP enterprise Structure and interface concept and management. 
  8. S4 certified and work experience needed
