Job Description
Provide L3 support for Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) and VMware vSphere environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Clustering.
Manage and administer VMware environments, including vCenter, ESXi hosts, vSAN, vMotion, DRS, HA, and snapshots.
Perform ESXi host patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management using vSphere Lifecycle Manager or custom baselines
Provide L3 support for Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) and VMware vSphere environments.
Provide support for physical server hardware (Dell EMC, HPE ProLiant, Lenovo ThinkSystem, Cisco UCS), including hardware diagnostics, firmware upgrades, RAID configuration, and part replacements.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve system outages and performance issues across both physical and virtual environments.
Execute patch management, system upgrades, and security hardening of both Windows Server and VMware infrastructure.
Collaborate with other infrastructure teams (e.g., network, storage, security) for cross-functional tasks and project delivery.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including SOPs, infrastructure diagrams, and change records.
Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning for both Windows servers and VMware virtualization platforms.
Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection and resolution.
Participate in the on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when needed, especially for critical system maintenance and troubleshooting.
