Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
Design end-to-end architecture for Windows-based systems, including Active Directory, Windows Server, and enterprise management tools.
Develop scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Define technical standards, architecture guidelines, system blueprints, and best practices.
Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives (e.g., server upgrades, domain consolidation, cloud migration).
Implementation & Administration
Oversee deployment, configuration, and optimization of Windows servers, AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and related services.
Architect and implement virtualization solutions using Hyper-V, VMware, or Azure Stack.
Design and integrate enterprise tools such as SCCM, Intune, WSUS, and Azure AD for endpoint and system management.
Security & Compliance
Develop secure architecture aligned with corporate security policies and industry standards.
Implement identity and access management (IAM), MFA, conditional access, and zero-trust principles.
Conduct system hardening, patching strategies, and vulnerability remediation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
Cloud & Modern Workspace
Architect hybrid identity solutions (Azure AD Connect, ADFS, SSO, Conditional Access).
Design and support cloud-based Windows workloads (Azure Virtual Machines, AVD, Windows 365).
Collaborate on cloud migration strategy and workload optimization.
Performance, Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Implement enterprise monitoring solutions (SCOM, Azure Monitor, third-party tools).
Perform root-cause analysis of complex infrastructure issues.
Optimize system performance, availability, and capacity planning.
Collaboration & Leadership
Work with cross-functional teams including network, security, database, and application teams.
Provide technical leadership for Windows infrastructure projects.
Mentor and guide system engineers and administrators.
Prepare architecture documentation, proposals, and technical reports.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and architecture roles.
Strong expertise in:
Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022)
Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
Azure AD, Azure IaaS, AVD, Windows 365
VMware/Hyper-V virtualization
Intune, SCCM/MECM, WSUS, MDT
Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
Deep understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, load balancers).
Knowledge of enterprise security, IAM, and compliance frameworks.
Ability to design highly available and disaster recovery solutions.
