Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage highly available, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure

Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

Implement security best practices including IAM, VPC, encryption, secrets management, and compliance standards

Automate deployment, scaling, patching, and backup processes

Collaborate with development, QA, and architecture teams to support application lifecycle

Lead DevOps best practices, mentoring junior engineers where required

Manage production incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA)

Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

Required Technical Skills

9+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in AWS Cloud & DevOps

Strong hands-on experience with AWS services:

EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53

Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline)

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

Strong experience with Docker & Kubernetes

Experience with Linux/Unix administration

Scripting skills in Shell, Python, or Bash

Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools

Experience with Git version control

Strong understanding of networking concepts, security groups, NACLs, load balancers

Good to Have

AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer – Professional)

Experience in microservices architecture

Exposure to DevSecOps practices

Experience with cost optimization and FinOps

Knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management tools
